OP has the ear frequencies now too.

alot of us hear them.

and there are several theories but i havent found the reason for my own frequencies yet.

they can get higher pitched and painful.

the only thing i can say is pay close attention to what U are THINKING when they happen

because they have a tendency to make U stop doing whatever it was U were just doing if they are loud enough

Turn off your tv. Unplug it. Same with your other electronic devices. Unplug them. Kill the power completely to these things and then see what happens.

How long does the ringing last? For me it's 2-5 seconds, always high pitched and always seemingly at random

The ringing comes on randomly. It goes from medium pitch to very high pitch, and is painful at first. It can occur in one ear or both.

I never hear the ringing in my right ear it's always in my left, anybody else?

just call me dr.goodenuff, mix= parts of 20 percent isopropyl alcohal,hydrogen peroxide,vinegar that equals 60 percent of the concoction and 40 percent distilled water and drop or spray this concoction in your ears and well it works for me for now.

It usually happens to me when eye'm falling back to sleep in the morning time, in both ears. One time i let it continue to ring while i was falling back to sleep & i woke up in this lucid reality type dream.

For the past two days, I've had a high pitched tone in both ears. It sounds like the high pitch tone used in hearing tests. It's been nearly continuous since I woke up Saturday morning. I've never experienced this before & I'm not having any health issues, haven't changed medications & I haven't been exposed to any loud noises.

I've had this strongly the past few days, noticed it since about Thurs/Fri. No idea why, but it has been extremely noticeable (more so than in entire life)

Some say,if the EUSTACHIAN CANAL, the one which connects the ear & throat? (sorry if im wrong)if infected by cold,causes some disturbance with the ear drum and this creates the ringing sound in our ears.

just happened to me when I was posting a thread about capturing the energy in cosmic rays.

No way. Last night sitting on the couch wacthing a movie my right ear goes funny, tone for 5 seconds, I'm like wth? Come in here and there is a thread for it. Freaky.

i used to get it often, then it stopped. lately it's been had it 2x w dizziness too. :(
