Apparently you werent paying attention in 1993 when politicians who have zero knowledge of firearms, picked up a gun catalog and flipped through it and banned firearms on such dangerous things as its color, and threatening appearance or shape. My civilian rifle may look like my military issue M4, but it isnt a military M4.
