That's simple enough but given the history of Judge's to "interpret" the law, I wouldn't put it past one to say "One must be registered in a militia to bear arms.".

But I don't think they want to open up that can of worms, a resurgance of organized state militias is the last thing they want.

Look, I know millions of people were raped, imprisoned and murdered because guns were banned, but we need to think about trying to save a dozen children every year by banning guns.

Taking any weapon away does not cure the problem.
Legislation does not cure the problem.
Fixing the problem cures the problem.
The problem is in the minds of the people committing the crimes, not in the tools. The human being is capable of creating a tool for killing out of almost anything. the problem is the sickness of society. Not the weapon needed to protect from the cause of the sickness.... that cause is the leadership and engineering of this society into an unnatural inhuman machine used for production of goods to make $$ to increase their power and control. Think.

Taking the tool away only protects those seeking to rule and control others with as little ability to oppose that control in the hands of the subjects being controlled. That is all it does. takes ANY power away from the citizens and gives an UNEQUAL balance of power that favors an oppressor.
