Is this a nation wide blizzard?

Just south of Portland, OR right now and I got the alert too, everybody on my Facebook is just saying disregard it... but all of Corvallis is out of power as is Philomath and some other areas, and its raining very, very hard outside my house.

No, next 5 days in upper 60's in the Sunny South.

Uhm, Intellicast shows quite clearly that the answer is no. Internet Radar maps are your friend.

Lucky... I need to get on there and see if im going to get any of this.

I am North of Portland Oregon just off I-5 about 65 miles. I also received the weather alert. We got some strong wind a few hours ago and heavy rain, so far that's it. Not sure if there's anything else coming, but if so I will re-post.

I promised an update if anything changed...here it is: the wind has picked up substantially and we are now receiving some snow...I will continue with update as weather changes....

The forecast is for a 100% chance of weather.

...wind has died down. Very strange weather to say the least. Sunshine heavy hail then the winds picks up, blows the clouds away and the cycle begins all over.

I'm in Rochester, MN.....and yes we received a blizzard alert earlier in the day.

I think it's kind of strange that all of the schools in my area have been cancelled tomorrow, but it hasn't even started snowing yet.

According to the radar it should be snowing right now, but it isn't. That is strange.
