I'm a convicted felon and can't own a firearm. I had to surrender them all when I was convicted.

My wifes ex-husband, his brother, and their friend came up to my house to beat me up. I beat them half to death with brass knuckles, sent them all to the hospital, and they charged me with 1st Degree Assault (assault with intent to do great bodily harm or kill).

I don't need a firearm to protect myself and have taken a knife away from someone when they pulled it on me on more than one occasion. If you pull a gun on me you better shoot me or or it will be mine.
