No, you are not. Superman is the worlds attempt on what they want in a Savior. There are many christ like characteristics of Superman; however, it is still a savior outside of Jesus Christ. Jesus/Yeshua is the only true Superman.. he paid for our salvation with His blood. The God/Man is Superman.

I'm divided between thinking the man of steel part is either our bent on technology and becoming likened to programmable robots, or that it is symbolic to his spiritual fortitude. Being true to himself, the superhero within, regardless of the world around him.

Why has his suit been given a darker, almost scale like look. More like armour. Same as the new spidey.

But yeah, I'm in full agreement it looks good.
