I was thinking of that when I posted. I see laws coming to make it very difficult to "store" a substantial amount of ammo or certain weapons. Another angle on the 2nd amendment grab.

Preppers have been a target in my opinion. I'm not a prepper,not a patriot or oathkeeper type either but I've been asked by a complete stranger in an unusual situation if I was one. Then a few questions followed as to whether I thought "patriot types" would fare well against the govt. Have I oberseved people prepping etc... These questions came out of left field and i thought pretty odd coming from someone I don't know and didn't initiate the conversation with. anyway, if I was you guys I'd keep any prepper type activities close to the vest. same goes for gun ownership and maybe even views on religion,the constitution etc, political affiliations etc.. Odd days we are living in for sure.

Seems to me that the only real preppers now getting eliminated by many means are the so-called 'authorities' with their doomsday seed vaults, underground bunkers and military command centers, hiding behind a terror drone assassination fleet.

If there ever was a group of paranoid and psychotic doomers who are a danger to themselves and others, these beasts would be it.

Well it is sort of senseless to prepare for years of doom.Personally I try to have enough ahead to get through a natural disaster and stocked a couple months ahead so I dont have to pay full price for items and can wait for a sale.
Other than that one does have to wonder just exactly these people are preparing for years for.
If its that bad that you need years of stuff you wouldnt make it anyway.Just weird how extreme some people are with it.

Get rid of the 'money lenders' these people are a blight on society.

The day that people who prepare for disasters are declared as criminals and terrorists, is the day we are TRULY screwed.

It's OK for government to make every kind of preparation under then sun. Outrageously so. But if YOU do anything at all... You are a "potential danger"!

I simply cannot AFFORD to prepare for anything more than a relatively short amount of time. But if you think that people who prepare for years are fools, and that preps for a couple of months is going to do you any good, then maybe you need to start re-evaluating the level of trouble that this nation is in.

So society totally fails and people dead on your doorstep from starvation,no sense of normal life in any way and you plan to live years on your preps.
Well have at it.Who in their right mind would even want to live for years like that with nothing but the stench of death in the air.I prepare for a couple months for savings and to get through a natural disaster.The very same nuts that claim to trust and have so much faith in God and the Bible which clearly states

Here's what gets me...
1- I have read from many sources that the govt and elites are prepping. Underground cities for them. That soon they will just start 'disappearing' from sight into their bunkers. If its important for them, why is it not important for everyone else?

2- wouldn't you think any person, preppers or not, with guns should be VERY careful with them? Locked in safes. ESPECIALLY if there is a family member who is 'troubled', under psychiatric care or meds. If I had such a child I would not even talk about preps in front of them so they don't flip out.

3- instead of attacking preppers, why does not the govt protect its people in the first place? If we had confidence in our govt, there would be no preppers. Just look at all the tv shows other than the preppers ones.... Revolution, survivalist, dual survival, etc . Are they trying to tell us something?

I am too old to be a preppers, but I can certainly see the need for it for all those with families.
