Police are now on the scene, investigating a shooting that is reported to have occurred at Santikos Mayan Palace 14 theater complex in the 1900 block of Southwest Military Drive around 9:20 p.m.

Yeah and third or so thread about it. Apparently dude shot dudes at a restaurant then went to the movies. Something like that. Minor blip. Everyone is certainly expecting doom.

Its actually normal to hear about stabbings and shootings there or in that area...

There are shootings every day.
It's a big deal in some cities when there isn't a shooting that day.

Scanner traffic at the time of the shooting indicated a man suspected of being the gunman was shot, but talking to police.

Don't know the details, but one of the articles listed 3 people as being injured (could one of them have been the gunman?)

Shot by police or armed civilians? Interesting how 2 separate situations can have entirely different outcomes.

word is gunman killed 2 people at a nearby u-haul building
then fled to movie theater where police killed him.

Sad to say this, but these copycat shooters, et al. are even lower than low. I mean, if they had any sort of self esteem, they would wait a few weeks/months/years for their 14 minutes of fame by themselves... instead of being an "also ran" copycat as called by the MSM...

and FFS, pick a different venue ! schools and movie theaters are so overdone now.. at least pick more interesting and challenging targets, like moving roller-coasters, trains, or friday night football games where the athletes would "literally" give you a run for your money ! Sheeesh !

You won't hear about this one on the National News, if it was at the Mayan it was gang related....

Much like the 10+ killings per night in Chicago and Detroit...you'll never hear about those either...
