Thought I would share a tid-bit about the lotus flower: Lilith is associated with the lotus, and its symbolism tells us a lot about her. The lotus, an exquisite flower that grows out of dark, rank, decaying earth, represents spiritual unfolding and the blossoming of the heart of wisdom.
