ISAAC NEWTON...NEWTOWN CT...!

I was wondering how some people like the POTUS and many reporters in the media were MISTAKENLY saying NEWTON instead of adding the TOWN sound...

You look at the word NEWTOWN and it doesn't sound natural to pronounce...it's as if you can't help but say NEW-TIN...does anyone else see what I mean?

For those that mentioned the La sinkhole/New Madrid/GOM connection, I too mapped it from I, Pet Goat 2 below, I have one phrase to confirm it:

SANDY = GREASE

It really is the WORD now, isn't it?
