Im was born in Peru, and this makes me very proud! and thinking about going back....lol

I wonder how the US is going to force them on GMO, as the tumor farmers will have less revenue, hopefully it won't turn into another Nicaragua as south America is the garbage backyard of the holy US.

Well played Peru. Unfortunatly GMO crops, more specificly seeds are very similear to a very well designed virus and will probably encroach on the borders from abroad. Monsanto are very bad people. They could even be Mericas last line of defense in the global rebalancing, if they get enough of a foothold and wipe out organic, or at least naturally evolved crops.

Came across this while looking for pro-gmo argumnets. They don't exist.

It's just a pity that Peru allows 2 million 30 year old deathtrap bangers to operate as taxis/combis in one city alone.

This is just part of the controlled experiment. To compare large populations who consume GMO's vs. those who don't. In 10 years time we will have viable results to report!

Us needs to ban them, too. In Ca. I voted to label GM foods.
Now we all eat it and don't even know.

Grow your own! It's the only way. I'm now thinking of Peru as a viable new home, if I can learn the language and get them to accept me as a resident. There's probably no safe place left in the world, but we only have a few years and should enjoy them if possible.

Yes Peru seems to still have traditional shamanic bonds to the earth and don't believe in such abominations based on filthy pathetic white man excuses of not enough food, bacterial infections, increased yields etc..

Unfortunately Biotech is the "industry of the future" for the last 10-15 years or so that has been trumped up right behind big oil, big banks, big pharma etc... The U.S. is an industry creator. I am glad to see countries around the world be caustious with GMO but it is not coming fast enough. People in the U.S. are too oblivious to notice that GMO is everywhere and the "new technology" farming is killing our biodiversity, poisoning our soil and using all the water. Meanwhile nutrition doesn't even register as a need. This to me is the most worisomme of DOOMS because we are doing it to ourselves and because of the market forces we will be ultimately complicit through general tacit apathy.
