What would you need if riots break out and you're still at work. If you were at home? What will you do? If forced to abandon your car and hide out in the hills at least over night...3-7 days possibly? Emergency blanket and tent, sterno for heat, light and cooking, matches, MREs, water to mix with MREs and rehydrating. Basic 1st aid. Crank-charge flashlights, phone/radio..... There are pre made bug out bags available on line, but the best would be if you plan for your own needs, what is likely to happen in your area, and add those items. and what about family members. Where would they be, do they know where to go and what to do. The best way to find out is to practice an event and see where you are lacking. Some people say if you haven't prepped until now, it's too late. I think even some preps are better than none. Suggest a good survival manual first. So if something happens to you, other in the family may have a reference. |
