What Is Enlightenment?

We are what we seek because nothing is really broken into compartments its all connected. To me enlightenment is to no longer seek but to feel full within oneself first then create, not with hunger or pride but with kindness and passion.

Just because one realizes that we are all one does not mean there is no more seeking to be done.

what are the intentions behind wanting to become enlightened.... is it a want, or a need? What fuels this intention?

enlightenment is not a joyous occasion, it is riddled with treacheries and deceptions of the mind.... it can be a truly fearful thing at times. However, enlightenment also shows the soul that the mind can be overcome, and thus shows how love (spirit) can tie together the fabrics of the universe.

Yeah im sure jesus meant for us not to seek answers outside of a book that he didnt write... Good thinking...

I think it is the ability to learn anything with the wisdom to know how to use the information.

Enlightenment = is the beginning of truly KNOWING

I'm always one for enlightenment.

The Enlightenment was the Jesuit's Dark Age coming back with their pagan 'science'.

The truth is found in the light of God's word, the Bible.

I seek knowledge and oneness with the creator. I seek the knowledge so that i can help my fellow being for in the end we are one.

Did christ say that or did constantine and his council of nicea add that?

Constantine created the jesuits... Now ask yourself who edited the bible for political gain... It couldnt have been the council of nicea in 326AD, could it?

Don´t be silly. The Gospels were written within the first century A.D.

Not to speak of messianic prophecies through the whole Tannakh, which is much older yet.

Enlightenment is a paradox and also a word that is commonly associated as being "I'm better than you" when it means no such thing.

There are many, many paths to enlightenment and many false paths to lead people to the wrong truth. The problem is mind and ego can make you think you're on the right path when you're actually moving away from it.

It is a word that expresses a journey and yet certain people of faith often attach derogatory labels to it. I've seen many enlightenment threads fall into chaos as bible versus are thrown around from people trying to prove they know the truth.

It isn't about who is right and who is wrong. The path is a personal one and there is no need to prove anything to anyone else. The end of the path should remain open to any and all new possibilities.

This body has many views, my name on GLP being one of them. Those without religious faith seek understanding, those of faith seek reward. Both should be allowed to fully explore their own path.

Your Soul is your Sol, you're never dying energy within.

Every Sol = Sun = Son <-- all are one in same.

Every planet has a Sol/Soul at its core, therefore every planet is a conscious being.

Your body and mind emits information like a radio tower. Your emotions are felt by others through the energy waves you emit.
Prayer is when you focus this energy and emit positive thought towards a specific entity or outcome.

Erase fear and replace with logic, you'll then break free.

I believe it is something that can only be completely done through your own self without any help at all.
