Do you think upon return of the Ancient Ones they will not call themself authoritive powerful Gods abolishing all religion and unthinkable human error according to "them."

I don't think we need to assume alien intervention to explain ancient cultures.

Human civilization rises and falls, with greater extremes than our history books tell us. There are cycles of natural disasters which start with the galactic center and the sun and cause pole shifts on Earth. In simple terms, think of the galactic center as a pulsar that has a very long period of thousands of years between outbursts. But when it goes off, an explosive sphere of light, radiation, dust, and a gravity wave all expand outwards. There are several such explosive events on their way to Earth (and every other part of the galaxy) all the time. There are at least two on the way now; and eventually the next one will arrive and cause great problems here.

Unfortunately there is nothing to detect ahead of time; no scientific evidence warning of an incoming wave of problems that approach at light speed. The only possible ways to know one is arriving soon would be:

1 - your planet has been hit so regularly so many times before that your people figured out the time periods between disasters and ancient survivors leave warnings for the future
or
2 - you get warnings via faster-than-light communication from psychics or aliens or a divine being

I think the most reasonable assumption is that we know the time period between disasters, and that ancient peoples warned us of a future date.

Personally I expect that 12/21/2012 may be a significant turning point, perhaps the start of the seven year tribulation. But the Bible, and even the Maya, clearly point to December 2019 with astronomical descriptions that match the skies seven years from now. The Bible in particular gives astronomical clues that describe an ancient Jewish wedding ceremony, and it takes place with heavenly bodies playing the roles of groom, bride, father, best man, etc starting December 21, 2019 when the bride reaches the altar. The following week, I believe, will have a pole shift ending with "Judgment Day." FWIW, before standing at the altar the bride circles the groom seven times. As the Earth is the bride and the Sun is the groom, this describes the seven annual orbits our planet makes around the sun finishing 12/21/2019 - and beginning exactly seven years earlier when the Mayan calendar's Long Count ends on 12/21/2012. I can't know if a horrific Middle East war will start soon to coincide with other Bible prophecies or not, but I'm watching.
