Boycott Jackie "Restrict Protests" Chan
Jackie Chan suggests in a recent interview that protests should be restricted in the freewheeling Chinese city of Hong Kong.

The action star lamented that Hong Kong has become a city of protest, where people “scold China, scold the leaders, scold anything, protest against anything.”

“There should be regulations on what can and cannot be protested,” Chan told the Southern People Weekly, which published his comments Wednesday. He didn’t say what kinds of protests he thought should be restricted.

These Hollywood conformistas need to take a hit at the box office because that's the only thing they understand.

And how many protesters are arrested each time? Can you answer that, OP? Didn't think so.

So instead of rebellion, i surmise Mr. Chan would suggest, the Chinese people should lead by example. This includes getting an education, getting involved in areas that need change, or a healthier, more positive input, and stick it to it, not yelling to the clouds like babies.

Unless, OP, you think Occupy does any good?

Maybe he doesn't want people foolishly getting themselves arrested. Chinese government sees a protest of itself as a declaration of war. So, none of that. But protests against toys in their lead paint, well that just might save the texture of their furnishings, and that's the kind of positive we are looking for.

Well rallying for war against Japan is not a smart move either :) ... sort of like sabotaging official diplomatic links.. <- this could be a term to restrict protests.

perhaps jackie has the force afterall :)
