Meh... Why dont we just go ahead and ban EVIL people instead? See where that gets us...

I am sick and tired of the fucked up logic that an inanimate object, such as a firearm, kills people. In fact, it requires an animate object (such as a human being) to pick it up and work it in an effort to kill others. Moreover, it takes even more effort of will to aim and compensate if you want to be able to hit a moving target. One must REALLY want to kill to go through all of that action.

So who kills people? The gun or the person using the gun? Because truthfully if you take away the gun, people will just use bombs (oklahoma bombing anyone?) take away the bomb and they will use bows and knives.

No, the evil here is PEOPLE and not an inanimate tool. So let's just ban evil people instead!

Nancy Lanza had good mental health and she was a qualified owner of guns- a typical American folk.

She did not protect anybody including herself.

The killer used her guns to kill more - if no guns, he cannot do it so easily- the gun is too effective to kill.
