When investigators found his computer at the house, the hard drive had been smashed, presumably by Lanza. He is said to have been a fan of computer games featuring warfare and killing. Did he cross some line from the fiction of these games into some twisted, self-realised reality last Friday?

Newser) – NBC News adds one more piece to the puzzle: It reports that Adam Lanza had some kind of altercation with four staffers at Sandy Hook Elementary School on Thursday, the day before the massacre. Three of those staffers were killed, and the fourth was not at school yesterday and is being interviewed by police. It's not known what the dispute was about. NBC also says Lanza tried to buy a rifle at a sporting goods store but was unable to do so because of the state's waiting period. He was still well-armed when he arrived at the school, however, apparently with weapons registered to his mother, reports ABC News.

I have 3 hitman games and most of the grand theft auto games and many more and I am not a violent person nor never will be so whatever. The bottom line is the shooter is fuc|<ed in the head probably had a bad life in a world were people treat people like sh|t and now we are in the blame game for political gain.

Violent videogames are played in every country IN THE WORLD... Many of which have plenty of guns lying around in citizens homes. Kids in Switzerland play violent videogames too... almost every home has guns... how many spree killings happened there in the last year?

It is America that consistently has such a horrifically high rate of these incidents so whatever is causing this, it sure as fuck isn't videogames.
