Stop looking for a scapegoat and accept that this young man had serious mental issues and trying to paint videogames as some kind of trigger is retarded in a world where the nightly news routinely shows more real life violence and death than every video game combined.

People are looking for a "reason" well here's your reason... he was batshit crazy.



The problem is not videogames or violent movies, easy access to guns or anything else, the problem is YOUR society allows people with serious mental issues to go ignored until they crack and crack they will without the help of violent games or any other external trigger.

Day after day of isolation and alienation is the reason this kid cracked.

How many times has this happened in the US in the last year alone?
How many times in other nations in the past year?

Violent videogames are played in every country IN THE WORLD... Many of which have plenty of guns lying around in citizens homes. Kids in Switzerland play violent videogames too... almost every home has guns... how many spree killings happened there in the last year?

It is America that consistently has such a horrifically high rate of these incidents so whatever is causing this, it sure as fuck isn't videogames.

I used to play an awful lot of Monopoly as a child. I wonder why I'm not a real estate tycoon?

Millions and millions like violent video games. Typical media blaming everything but the most likely reasons. I've spent hours and hours heads hotting bad guys in video games, as have loads of people I know. It doesn't make you a violent person.

No it is a stupid and meaningless point pushed on the world from the world of undercover gun-nuts looking to obfuscate an issue enough that the real issues are not discussed.

Japan has just as many violent video games, and so does Korea, and here in Hong Kong, they also in Japan have extremely violent cinema and all manner of violent entertainment.

They have no where near as many homicides, and not even remotely near as many mass killings, and almost zero gun crime.

The video game theory is an absolute farce.

If anything, its the ugly and zealous CULTURE you have allowed to grow in the United States unabated due to the many ideologues you have running your country.
