Where is the CCTV footage from the Newtown School? There are cameras everywhere today.

We want to see ALL of the footage from EVERY CCTV camera on the property on the day of the shooting.

Would that be too much to ask?

I work for the local school district, one of the top 50(in size) of the USA...for awhile I ran the Audio/Video department that was also tasked with Installation & Maintenance of all the Video Surveillance systems....

The probable cause of there being no video is that there "is NO" video to be seen...by that I mean, there were likely no camera(s) aimed at the areas of the school where the shootings took place...

Here we are only mandated to cover the following in a Elementary school:

2 PTZ's (Pan,Tilt,Zoom)cameras, one at the front and back of the school covering the parking lots.

1 at the front entrance

1 in the front office

1 in the cafeteria

and that's it

so if Sandy Hook is anything like us, there is likely no video footage to view....

I can't count how many times I or my guys have been called to a school by Law Enforcement wanting us to "Retrieve" the footage off the DVR, only to find the camera in question was pointing just a little to the left or right of the "action"

So how exactly did a guy THAT WORKS FOR THE NEWTOWN SCHOOL DISTRICT just happen to come upon this little forum?

And what exactly inspired you to rush to the defense of the "government" and the Newtown school district in regards to the total lack of video evidence of this shooting?

Have any local or national news organizations contacted you in regards to this situation?

so you want to set and watch 23 hrs of footage from a camera pointing at a door where no-one go in or out of??

i want it all released, regardless of what is visible.

question, do you happen to have your kid near so they can translate this info to you...cause you got a "short" between your keyboard and the chair you are sitting in.

Okay. So now you work for THE LOCAL school district.

Not the Newtown School District.

The LOCAL (but unspecified) school district.

So you have no idea where the CCTV cameras are installed in the school in question, or where they pointing.

Correct?

So why are you attempting to pass yourself off as a knowledgeable person on this subject?

Chances are there is little or NO usable video footage...I've tried explaining this in several threads here but just get called a SHILL....If you want to know, I'll tell you, but I ain't gonna put up with any "Shill BS"...let me know
