I disagree with this guy......We can be sincere, and still be sincerly wrong.

....... using medication AS PRESCRIBED for disease is completely fine. We can also use herbs in responsable amounts that do not excessively intoxicate us for treatment of human disease and malady with no fear of accruing Gods wrath. To infer this is pharmakia is rediculous.

Never the less, if you feel the Lord prompts you to abstain, please know that for you that could be true. On this subject we all have differant views, let each man examine his or her heart.

We are commanded in scripture to be holy. For me, I will be holy by using medication in reasonable doses, not excessively intoxicated, and always asking- "is it helping and is it beneficial to my overall health?"

Even herbs, long considered as food, have been made illegal. Citizens are prohibited from healthy nutrition while being forced to rely on foods and drugs that are poisonous to the body. The recent passage of CAFTA makes that codex now enforceable in the U.S., so you might get ready for it. Soon you will be just a prisoner whose diet is restricted to the poisons which international officials prescribe. If that isn't a genocidal pogrom, what is.

The evidence supporting the issue is unfortunately disturbing, and should not be easily ignored. Over 100,000 people die each year from the regular, prescribed use of prescription drugs. These deaths are not because of abuse...they are from regular use. I know this because my own mother was one of these victims.

God has indeed created a wonderful natural world full of healing medicines. It's too bad most of society is so far removed from the natural order of things to realize how beneficial these things are. Natural remedies do not have the dozens of horrible side effects that Rx meds have.

Knee-jerk reactions to this issue are dangerous. Everyone is well advised to do their research first before coming to a conclusion.
