The point is just because you feel safe, doesn't mean you really are. Even if criminals are trying to kill other criminals they dont really care if there is collateral damage.
Whether they are using guns, bombs, knives, drones.....
You might feel safe and I feel safe as well, but in reality there are criminals all over the world and they live by their own rules. Not ours. And they walk amongst us. I hope you are wiling to do what you need to do to protect your life.

I've seen guns. I've fired guns. I have never had a gun pointed at me though. I imagine it would be pretty scary. The first time I ever fired a gun it scared the hell out of me.
But I have had someone try to beat me to death with their bare hands.
As soon as I was armed, with a knife mind you, I went from victim to having the power to make him do whatever I wanted. And believe me, when he realized I was no longer scared and was willing ... he sat down, shut up and waited for police.
