It's not a yes or no question.
In your opinion (without Googling or otherwise looking it up), how many earthquakes do you estimate happen around the entire world, per year?

Most of them are too weak to be even felt or displayed on quake sites though - most of them however are recorded. Still there are several thousands left to be displayed on USGS (+M2.5 in the US, +M4.0 worldwide) and other sites. |
