ok, as a Brit there are four things I would like to say :-
#1 Americans, ignore all the libtard hate from Europe etc.... these people are the first to call for gun clamp downs but also the first to ask for police state laws if they then get attacked, ignore them, it's your country.
#2 Europe tends not to have these massacres which gets the media hyper ventilating, but equally unless you live in a safe area you're dependant on the whim of others to stay safe, especially so in you're own home, google the number of homeowners prosecuted for defending their property, this is what happens in a disarmed country (UK), you're stuck between the police and the criminals, with laws passed that prevent you even defending your own.
#3 Ultimately, in a free society you have to accept that bad things happen by people that make the wrong decisions, in the same way that with free speech bad people say things that you don't like, if you start down the route of banning freedoms (or banning speech) then you end up in a land of the ruled not the land of the free
#4 The worst laws are passed in the aftermath of disaster, whatever that disaster is, europe and the UK is a good example of this, take heed, if you do go down the gun control route then at least stall them until the legislation can be reviewed in the cold light of day.
