The Flu Shot, Post Your Stories Here!

So I wanted to know from all you Glper's out there what your thoughts are on this.

The reason I am posting is because I work here in long term health care in a smaller northern Ontario community and they basically are forcing us to take the shot or you won't be able to work.

At our local hospital, they have forced their employees to take it and if you don't you do not work there anymore. Well a group of nurses ended up hiring lawyers from Toronto and now trying to set precedent on the fact that you cannot force someone to take this so called shot.

Most of you know that it is a poison and it is being used for population control and/or profits. I would love to hear your stories about the shot and the drug tami-flu!

I had the Flu shot at work a long time ago and got the worse case of the Flu ever.

It is a known fact that the mercury and chemicals they put in Vaccine's causes Alzheimers. In the last 20+ years there has been an increase in Alzheimers disease.

Most elderly people develop dementia late in life. The cases of dementia in people in their 50 - 60's have increased since the vaccine program. I am in the health field and have seen the data.

Also be aware of all vaccines. They have substitued mercury in some with other potential damaging chemicals.

Never gotten the shot and never will. I can't really recall if I have had any vaccination ever. I've never had the flu and maybe a typical cold twice in my life. The strangest thing though is I have never had chicken pox. 90% of people I know have though.

took it for the very first time this year, just to shut my doctor up.

2 days later i had the flu, it lasted about a week. will never get one again.

Well there it is, if that's the case, you have a different genetic make up that your immune system has allowed you to fight off these viruses, or whatever it is.

I'm thankful for that, it's just so unfortunate that people are being poisoned and do not get the chance to fight off these horrible diseases.

Just at my doctor, he told me i should go get one, his whole family has, and he has a bunch of degrees, he pretty much has spent almost his entire life studying medicine, except for when he was wearing diapers. I believe him when he tells me I should get it, and it will be good for me. however, the opinions against them seem to be based on individula cases, and rumors. The data overall clearly indicates that getting one will improve your chances for survival. These claims that lead people to make a fear-based choice that could endanger their life need to be backed up with data, and more substantial proof than the equivalent of an early morning info-mercial personal claim.

I haven't had one since leaving military service in 1997.
I have been sick twice.
When I was forced to take the shot I was sick on and off through out the year.

Post note: Out of 12 years, the first 3-4 years it was not forced and I was fine. In the 90,s it was forced on us.

OK quick Version:
Worked for Home Depot they came around one year pushing free flu shots.
I declined..
Girl who stated that she has previously never been seriously sick or missed a day of work in her life,
got talked into shot by nurse because she worked around public all day.
Less than 24 hours later after shot, she is rushed to hospital with life threatening fever and full blown flu.
She was out of work nearly 2 weeks after that.
She quit a short time later not sure if she got a lawyer or not.
