Texas Gun Dealer Offering Discount to Teachers
following incident at elementary school in Connecticut


A controversial Texas gun dealer says in light of the shooting in Connecticut, he plans to offer the class required to carry a concealed weapons permit at a discount to teachers.

"Our normal rate is $110," said Crockett Keller of Keller's Store in Mason Texas, west of Austin. "I would give teachers a rate of $90. We would be more than happy to do that."

He said teachers need to be allowed to carry guns in the classroom.

"I think that we need to lobby our various state governments to allow teachers to be armed," Keller said. "We allow airline pilots to carry weapons and something needs to happen in these gun free zones which are so dangerous."
