what can I expect to happen after one year?

So is that all you're going to do in your spare time?

Reading is valuable, education is valuable, everyone should learn something everyday.

But I cannot understand people with physical and mental capabilities to do many other things, but who instead choose to just sit and read books for hours . . . especially stuff like fiction. What's the point . . . what's accomplished. ?

just try not to develop myopia. seriously, make sure you train your eye to focus on far objects, because nature didn't intend for us to focus on shit two feet in front of our faces, we were supposed to scan far distances in the pre industrial world where man made walls didn't exist.
