As for the media assault on the 2A, they smell blood and are going for it. I really can't blame them, as they have the guts those on the right only wish they had. The right is too busy being the "gentleman" and "proper". |

I had to get finger printed FBI check mental health check and 2 references. After that you get a firearms ID card.Yeah it sucks but it does weed out the nut jobs. I don't mind doing it once, but every time I want a new hand gun I have to go through the same B.S. aside from fingerprints. I don't mind doing it once and maybe it should be done, but after that, you should be allowed to buy what you want. Freedom requires breathing room, the Constitution presupposes that there will be some crazies among us so that the rest of us can enjoy freedom. - Judge Andrew Napolitano A huge shit cloud is coming! |

New Jersey is WAY TOO DAMN restrictive but I don't have a problem with a basic background check to weed out (VIOLENT) Felons or registered nut jobs BUT ONLY if the check were performed and then anonymized. THE PROBLEM is that this could never happen and the last thing we need is a great list of who has been "naughty or nice" when it comes to gun ownership YET you know the government does archive this stuff just because it can. If they could make a list with disappearing ink then no problem but till then... Last Edited by IRQ_1 on 12/18/2012 12:47 AM Jack of all trades master of none "shall not be infringed." If they could make a list with disappearing ink then no problem but till then... What happened to the 4th amendment? That is the question. Like I said it's a fine line. EVERYONE has a God given right to defend themselves and I think even Felons who have served their time should have their rights restored if they won't recommit a violent crime but if we have the ability to stop someone who is still out in public but has a known psycho issue then maybe we should do it. Of course the problem with this and your right about it in that the intrusion of the personal relationship with the doctor and patient being brought up into the entire argument is more or less a violation of the 4th. People with ISSUES PROBABLY shouldn't own a gun YET the very problem I have with that argument is that it seems that arguing that people with mental disorders should be restricted is that "THEY" can always change the definition of a "mental disorder" which they do annually. Like I said It's a fine line and for damn sure a slippery slope. Last Edited by IRQ_1 on 12/18/2012 01:25 AM Jack of all trades master of none "shall not be infringed." Quoting: Anonymous Coward 3128289 I dont want any fuckup packing heat and not knowing how to use it. Banning however wont fly. This will go way beyond that, there will be yet another government agency created that will be in charge of just who does and who doesn't deserve to have a permit to own.....and since you've been to this web site you're out brother. Now you get it? Criminals shouldnt be allowed depending on the severity of their record. Anyone being denied because of what website they visit is foolish. |

Wouldn't you want an even playing field to protect your family and friends? How come mass shootings are popping up now all of a sudden? There's more to the story. Below is what you should be worried about. Here’s a history of what happens after governments have disarmed their citizens: 1911 – Turkey disarmed it’s citizens, and between 1915 – 1917 they murdered 1.5 million Armenians. 1929 – Russia disarmed it’s citizens, and between 1929 – 1953 they murdered 20 million Russians. 1935 – China disarmed it’s citizens, and between 1948 – 1952 they murdered 20 million Chinese. 1938 – Germany disarmed it’s citizens, and between 1939 – 1945 they murdered 16 million Jews. 1956 – Cambodia disarmed it’s citizens, and between 1975 – 1977 they murdered 1 million Educated people. 1964 – Guatamala disarmed it’s citizens, and between 1964 – 1981 they murdered 100,000 Mayan Indians. 1970 – Uganda disarmed it’s citizens, and between 1971 – 1979 they murdered 300,000 Christians. You could ban ALL guns tomorrow, and horrible events like this WILL STILL HAPPEN. However, I can show you the gun that can stop a lunatic walking into any room and just start blasting away. ANY gun could've done this. The gun just needs to be there. Simple as that. It doesn't even need to be ON someone. It could be in a staff room locked in a gun safe. Are you really this stupid? |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 25028055 Anyone who comes out against the Second Amendmant is a paid shill for the NWO. This includes Beck, Hannity, ETC.... ALl of them are paid to snow the public, all of it is a game. Learn who is playing you folks. It can't be that things have gotten so bad that even those on the far right can see that we need to make some changes in how we regulate firearm ownership ? No, because it HASN'T gotten "so bad." Mass shootings are flat. Violent crime is down. The worst school massacre in US history happened in 1927 due to a bomb. It is NOT "so bad" compared to any other time. The only change we need is to make it easier to get carry-conceal permits. Mandatory training and background checks are fine for carry-conceal permits, but they need to be made available for the PURPOSE OF SELF DEFENSE in all the libtarded areas where it's currently nearly impossible to get them. That'll stop a lot of the cowardly punks from terrorizing people. |
