I'm talking about the ban on large soft drinks in NYC. We no longer get the choice to make an unhealthy decision. The government will make that choice for us. They are saying that THEY have the power to MAKE your decisions for you. You are no longer the master of your vessel(body). Your vessel is the property of the government and they will deem what is acceptable for you to put into it.
It's completely unacceptable that people accept this and even support it. They are blind sheep that do not see what kind of precendent this sets.
Most of all however, they are complete hypocrites. Their FDA approves of all the carcinogenic ingredients in our food but they are worried about obesity? Why? Because cancer takes more time to set in?
If they really cared about obesity, they wouldn't approve of all of the unhealthy, fattening ingredients.
This is a test and we failed. They are seeing how far they can push us. How many bans and regulations we will put up with.
