i dont know about the rock,im usually pretty good with them but may have to wait for the vid so you can turn it around from all angles-it does look quartzy but the markings on it are unusual,no its not a geode or thunderegg, even though you can get them without a hollowed centre..but you have nice guitarists hands, if you dont play guitar-you should.

next: put it on a scale and try to find out if it is unusually heavy/light for a rock of that size.

So, i found a rather...large rock in a park back in July it had a odd rune on the top and my friend and i broke it open *we were bored OK?* there were VERY large crystals in it, almost like a geode, but the space with the crystals is perfectly square.
no idea where its from *area is sedimentary rock, and this seems to be igneous*

except its a circle not a square. i can provide pics of my half immediately if someone tells me how i can upload to imgur without losing the location of the file i just uploaded, i've uploaded it about twice now. the bottom of the rock is very convex, and almost like it belonged in something.


i only have half at the moment, i am asking my friend to bring his back so i can show the whole rock as one peice, or if that fails get him to send me the image of the entire rock before it got smashed.
