SomeChick inspired me yesterday, I made a beef vegetable soup with some beef bones and leftover prime rib I had frozen from Christmas. I made the stock using the ribs, onions, carrots, celery, garlic, salt and cracked pepper, a little lovage (oh, I love that herb, smells and tastes like celery, kind of...but is perennial), thyme, bay leaf, and parsley. Drained the stock, added the leftover beef, added some brown rice, sundried tomato, corn, peas, green beans, chopped spinach, and diced potato. I love cooking in the winter!
I'm off soon to try out my new bow and arrows after I finish putting the bow components together.
