12/21/12 is a "soft open."

Beginning on Friday, events that you will not be privy to will be set into motion. There will be an announcement, but it will be in a place where you are unlikely to find it. Later (a year, maybe two), the more astute among you will be able to locate said announcement. However, it is unlikely that anyone will be able to separate the signal of your discovery from the noise of feverish speculation swirling around it.

An alliance will be made on Tuesday the 25th. You will not see any indication of this on that day and it is possible you never will. The alliance will make itself evident in the month of February 2013. As with the previous announcement, you will most likely not be able to discern it when it arrives. It is possible that this announcement may "go viral" for reasons unrelated to its import.

The plans for the following year are still in flux but they will include clues as to our origin. An announcement to America and the world (though it might more appropriately be called a coronation) will occur in the month of April. We are not at this time willing to divulge the year except to say that it will not be 2013.

If you figure out the riddle, do not expect anyone to believe you. We are, however, extremely interested in seeing who does and how long it takes them. We'll be watching.
