No country in the world should allow its citizens access to guns of any type. In the wrong hands they are deadly, they need to be banned 100%, not even allowed for clay pigeon shooting / pistol ranges / hunting etc.

Quoting: andy (uk) 1582847 Well, perhaps if guns had never been invented in the first place, it would be achievable. But that is unrealistic and places people in an unnecessarily vulnerable position, unable to defend themselves against criminals who will always have access to weapons.
