There is no smoke.

its a fire, and a cheap camera that when you keep moving around like he is, makes the glow flicker unless you stay focussed.

Its to far away to see smoke
I have seen the same thing here driving 100km's from a raging bushfire it pulsates its a weird looking thing.

Fire is about 200kms away if you look at the area of Rockingham Western Australia you will see its surrounded by dense forests.
If the smoke is blowing away and/or the fire has just started you will not get any.

I am not a shill but I have seen this before in real life here in Australia in Victoria.

i used to live in a national park, we got woken up and evac.one night for a fire,couldnt smell smoke or see it cos of the wind, but when we looked behind the house there was a glow like that coming from behind the mountain.

the sky was red here in nevada last night, about the same color as you see in the background

I have never seen bushfire glow look like this nor have I seen it pulse either...btw I am an Aussie too.


The locals some who have lived there for 25 yrs or more say they have NEVER seen anything like it before.

I live 35km east of Rockingham in the forested hills. There were no fires around us or in the areas to the east of us on that night. The only other possible direction for a fire is to the south, though there was nothing on the news lately about fires in that direction as well.
A pity he didn't mention a direction on the video.

I live in the same area. That WAS a weird day, but there were absolutely no fires anywhere, day or night; and I would know, since my house was almost burnt down in the Feb 2011 fires and since then, I take a VERY active interest in bush fires within a two hundred mile radius of my home.
