Prediction about motive behind shooting in CT - careful timing

My prediction is that the authorities will tell us that the shooter was angry with his mom and fascinated by guns and video games until a day or two after 12/21 passes. Then they will say he was believed the end of the world was to occur and that is why he snapped. They will delay the release of the info of why he did it until after 12/21 to avoid copycats.

Not a huge conspiracy here, but i think it will go down like this...
