Is it normal for Black Molly fry being born gray?
I have had two tanks with Black Molly's for a few years and they co-produce a lot. As of lately (last couple months) several fry are gray.
Only Molly's now in one tank where this is happening (apart from some bottom fish).
Any clue?

I have swordtails rather than mollies, but the fry are usually translucent at first and then slowly pick up some color as they grow. But black mollies can definitely spawn gray fry.

Thanks folks -
It was just that they had always been coming out black and lately a few grey ones. Appreciate the feedback
For the rest they seem as happy as pie!
Here they were, two years ago or so. Many more now!
