Exactly!! Has absolutely nothing to do with hunting. So sick and tired of hearing the politicians and libs saying that we don't need assault rifles for deer hunting.
 Quoting: Evil Cretin

how many bomb carrying drones do you think you could shoot down when the military comes in? you wont ever see it coming so your arguements to keep automatic guns is mute.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 17687147

So another govt worshiper. I guess like God himself the govt can cover all 3.5 million square miles and cities like Los Angeles with drones and awesome weapons that work all the time, every time. That of course is assuming they want to murder their own countrymen.

So depleted uranium slugs and RPG launchers should be available to all?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22089462

Lest you forget, Lead, is very toxic as well. Or would you rather that only the 'elite' use either lead and/or uranium projectiles? Let the surfs use wooden pellets in their guns?

WTB:

Nuclear weapons so I can at the very least nuke the capital when the politicians become dicks.

That should make sense according to your reasoning right?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22089462

"Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Is it feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man gainst his own bosom. Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American…[T]he unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people." – Tenche Coxe

But you trust nukes in the hands of the psychopathic Satanic ruling jewish Illuminati banksters.

Why not the people, as opposed to the Illumati????
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 20078449

The above highlighted statement by the "OP" tells me everything I need to know about him.

My guess is that if enough guns and weapons and nukes were in your hands your first target would be the Jews.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 18012248

And by that you show your own hand. The International Bankers should never be confused with the Jews, some Jews are international bankers, sure, as are some catholics, some christians, some hindu, some 'pagan', and some even 'satanists'.

Oh, and, but what if The People in the super majority be Illuminatists? or Jews, or Christians, or Muslims, or Wiccans, Buddhists, or Hindu, or Native American Shamans, or even Satanists, then what of it? What part of the workings of a Constitutional Democratic Republic, emphasizing the democratic part of that tri-fold phrase do you not understand?

The international bankers will never be in the super majority of any People of a Constitutional Democratic Republic, because by their mere lack of numbers they do not even have a simple majority of the people voice. Yet, these should be protected as to Liberty, Life, and the "pursuit of happiness" even as the majority would be themselves, expect to be governed, by the rule of Law, and under the regulation over corporation by that rule of Law as the majority and even the super-majority of the People deem fitting and wise.

The Internationalist wishes to have Free Trade, meaning that international business be not hampered by the laws of any nation nor hampered by the laws of any peoples, but only their own international banking interests. That unhampered 'Free Trade' works to be destructive even to their customers.. these are Predators eating People, regardless of the international bankers' 'faith' or 'religion' or even their 'philosophies' or sense of Political Economics.

Re: The right to bear arms (2nd Amend) is specifically intended for DEFENSE AGAINST MODERN ARMY
There is a lot of confusion regarding the 2nd amendment from both sides on these forums....

The right to bear arms is fundamental. The right to bear arms is NOT granted by the 2nd amendment. The Bill of Rights grants NO rights, the Bill of rights simply lists and reasserts certain rights of the people which had been commonly violated in the past by government - it is merely a reiteration, not a granting. Rights do not come from government, they come from your creator. Just as the Bill of Rights does not secure or grant the right to bear arms, the 2nd amendment and your right to bear arms cannot be taken away through a law or an amendment. It is inalienable. It is your birthright.

Please understand and adopt this.

And now we can see why the ruling PTB controlling the U.S. Gov. pulled off the OKC Bombing, framing McVeigh and demonizing/framing the "Militia Movement."

One of the key reasons for the OKC Bombing was the attempt to destroy the growing MILITIA MOVEMENT within the U.S.

In order to take back our nation, we "the people" need to RE-CONSTITUTE the Militias, and heavily recruit, arm, and train them. As a bullwark to the tyranny they have planned.

If a child doesn't do his homework and clean up his room when he's supposed too, his right to watch TV for 2 hours a night is suspended until the matter is resolved. This scenario by pure definition is called a privilege NOT a Right.

The 2nd Amendment is a Natural, Absolute, God Given Right. It is not a privilege granted by Government! If it were a Right granted BY Government than by default, they have they ability to take it away. Hence, the definition of a privilege. This is the genius of the Founders when they talked about Rights in the Declaration of Independence.

This is why our Rights recognized in the first 10 Amendments (Preamble - Bill of Rights) are very important. They come from God folks. Not man or any Government. So, therefore man does not have the authority to take them away.

And what modern army do you think semi-automatic rifles and handguns will be much use against?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 25007705

Apparently ours, since it's so god damned determined to disarm the people. Otherwise it wouldn't bother.

Also, it's lost the last two wars to opposing forces that were armed with just that.

By corollary, should you as a citizen be allowed to own "weapons" that can disable the nuclear weapons of a state, but aren't useful as weapons in offensive capability?

Let me guess, you answer will be "of course not".

Ok, then. Turn your computer off, smash it into tiny pieces with a sledge hammer, and cancel your internet subscription. Never touch the internet again.

Sound unreasonable? Well no, it really isn't, since governments repeatedly make the claim that command, control, communications and computer systems that are vital to nuclear forces could be disrupted via "cyber attacks". Just look at Stuxnet.
