Expert at firing because I was raised in the country in Oregon and I used to target practice growing up. While raising my sons alone (Mom) and they were teens, I took them out in the mountains here in Cali and target practiced with them.... all their friends still go out in the mountains and target practice at times.... they are 24 & 25 now. I think it's important to know how to use a gun safely and how to defend yourselves if needed. By the way, what is the average response time for your German police to arrive to help you? Five minutes? Ten minutes? An hour? I would much rather protect my own safety than rely on the police to arrive in time. You imply that this makes me a caveman; I do not see your logic. |

Exactly, the reality of the situation is rarely, if ever, do Police actually PREVENT crime. They are only there to document and investigate AFTER a crime has occurred. I am not going to wait for Law Enforcement to document my dead body 5-10 minutes after the crime has taken place.
