It sounds to me like religion is the perversion. Or an understanding and application of the religious belief that is a perversion. The US and other fundamentalist countries have a lot of sexual hang ups and they have a lot of violence. Indigenous cultures seemed to accept natural differences in their people ie: the pacific islanders don't shun homosexuals in their communities and there are many cultural and historical as well as natural examples of homosexual behavior. However, where there is religious fundamentalism, people who need to cling to that ONE truth and believe THEY have the truth, then there is hatred and strife.

It is more likely that those people are part of "the greatest deception" in the history of mankind. Could it be that the destruction of our true historical documents and our true and original spiritual documents as well as an alteration of the religious texts and historical texts has resulted in our downfall? Just a question. Nobody knows the answer. Not yet anyway. But everyone is full of hatred and judgement.

If God was so worried about evil why wasn't the world destroyed during the past 5000 years of human civilization when women were being raped, children murdered, entire populations of indigenous people massacred or starved, etc.?
