I think we'll see a repeat of the '94 "Assault" weapons ban.

I doubt they'll enact a no-Grandfathering clause, as it would lead to serious civil unrest.

I can see how that could be a concern, but I think it would be too difficult for the state to run a psych evaluation of everyone who goes to purchase a firearm.

That's what I'm thinking they will do. But when you say that's not so bad, that's great that it's not soo bad for you. Many people I'm sure feel that way. But why should what you or others think is "not so bad" be pushed on EVERYONE? Why is your opinion of not so bad good enough for all?

It will be the 1994 ban on steroids. If you have an "evil black rifle" you can keep it but you won't be able to sell it. If it breaks it will be illegal for a gun smith to work on it. Also no mfg of parts by anyone. It also will do nothing for lowering crime. But the Feinsteins of this world will have a feel good moment and pat themselves on the back.

Probably the best bit of legislation would be to remove guns from everyone that has been treated for a mental illness. GLP would be gunless, then
