They are using the excuse that they are out of stock and this is why they have stopped selling firearms. However some of there guns still show as in stock but with the message saying 'cheaperthandirt.com does not sell firearms.'
Quoting: NISA715 Do you know when that message went up? I don't get it, unless they've been threatened by the government. Their customers and the people who purchase guns would still buy, so why would they stop selling. Talked to a buddy who was browsing there yesterday, so the change must have been overnight.
