The important thing is that the head of the Jewish community of Thuringia (800 people according to the article) totally opposes and condemns this campaign. Being in arts meself too though Swin, i believe that if you want to pass a political message through art you must find the correct balance between the two (art-pol.message) for this message to be nicely received by others and from what i've read so far about this case i find the art dept lacking a bit to be totally honest here. Lots of constructive and creative ways could be found to really test this complex relationship that this artist wants to challenge, and raise important and meaningful questions that could help both sides understand more about the causes, reactions and origins of this relationship and move together a step forward to the right direction. I'm afraid that people that can't totally get his provocative message will blame it to the whole community.

I don't disagree with you that the message is hard to take, especially for the average German or every other country that could be affected by a similar campaign for this matter. I try not to generalize too much though even with the muslims and the jews citizens and i don't think that one artist talks and expresses the views of millions of people, the problem is and always was the politics and the elite's agenda behind them and not the average Joe for me, not to say that some Joe's haven't bought in the agenda and actively support it, but good and bad apples everywhere for me, that's all.
