People react to death and tragedy differently. The coping mechanisms of people are different, and some of them are cultural based. You know some people have celebrations at funerals? It's all joyful? You also know, someone who is a mix of emotions, not used to being on camera, will show all of them at once?

Agree, totally. That on top of the fact that being on camera makes most people nervous - people smile when they're anxious, nervous or feel out-of-place. Someone might have said something to loosen the guy up right before going on camera. The way he suddenly went back to grief-mode was when he came back to reality from whatever someone just said, and realized what he's about to say. Grief and shock do very strange things to people. At my grandmother's funeral, I waffled between complete agony and laughing at stories people told about her.

That said, who knows, I'm just throwing possibilities out there.

People act unnaturally when under pressure, especially when a camera is shoved under their nose.
I was once on a prestige corporate car sales seminar, the class was about to role play, I was asked to be the salesman, behind a counter in a mock up of the parts dept.

What bugs me is the faces. I see lots of grimacing, breathless voices, and the like - all which are easy to do at the drop of a hat.

How is it that nearly every parent, every family member arriving on the scene was showered, dressed, makeup applied, etc so early in the day ?

No one appearing on camera looks like they have been grieving - no red rimmed eyes, runny nose, slept in clothing, and no fucking tears. No lip trembling uncontrollably .... No wet cheeks,

And wtf with all these reporters having the lovefests, making a point of telling the viewers where they were when their eyes started watering, how long it lasted, exactly who witnessed their outpouring of emotion, blah blah blah .....

Yes, I believe something went very wrong at Sandy Hook that day. But what is happening now - purely evil.

This video with the parents of the little girl Emile.. its so weird. WHY on earth if after asking a police trooper if asking if there were any survivors and to accept that there child wasnt alive anymore, the trooper said yes.. and then the parents went home???

As a mother of four kids all under 6 myself, I WOULD NEVER HAVE LEFT THAT PLACE UNTIL I SEEN MY CHILD, dead or alive.. I wouldnt have left.. I would have waited for hours, days or weeks outside of that school. I would have found a way to break into that school to find my child. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY I WOULD HAVE JUST LEFT AND WENT HOME.
