Would the government actively go after people who already own assault rifles and demand they hand them over? Or would there be a 'Guns4Cash' kind of deal? Just curious more than anything, I don't think I'd want to go door to door demanding someone give me their AK...  I don't see a "door-to-door" nationwide sweep, IF they outlaw possession. They'll make some examples probably, but then they'll stop. Too many gunowners here in the States. There will be a turn-in period. After that if you're caught with one you'll do some serious prison time or be SWAT teamed. But a door-to-door isn't something the police nor military want to do. Just my humble opinion of course. That makes more sense. I just wondered how hard they were going to push this. I would have thought door to door would cause more problem anyway...
