Would the government actively go after people who already own assault rifles and demand they hand them over? Or would there be a 'Guns4Cash' kind of deal? Just curious more than anything, I don't think I'd want to go door to door demanding someone give me their AK...  Since there is no long gun registry, they don't even know you have it. Hmm that's intriguing, I'm showing my ignorance here to be honest, however I would have thought buying heavier weapons would require you going to gun shops. I thought to buy assault weapons there would be a registry? However it is a redundant question if they ban buying assault weapons from shops after a law is passed.
