I stop and enjoy the world around me in silence. I don't believe that I need anything as formal as meditation or prayer. I don't need to show others that I hear God or to turn my legs into a pretzel to be close to my One True Creator.

It is all very informal and personal. I never meditate in front or near anyone. Only in private. If we need others to see us meditating, that is just Ego coming out in my view.

The phrase "caught up" is where we get the idea of "rapture" from. As far as a "secret rapture" that some believe in, I have absolutely no idea how it will be secret with all that trumpet blowing and shouting! At any rate, it involves all the righteous being "caught up" into the air to meet Jesus. It is then that He will take us home to that place He has prepared (I Corinthians 15:23-26). There we "shall always be with the Lord."

Do you think the Lord will come today? No? Then you better be sure you are ready (Luke 12:40)!

We honestly should petty them. This is a good example of what I was saying a few pages back about us needing to detach from society and the people close to us during these chaotic and amazing times.

It is not as if we hate them, it is an issue of not being able to help them and them just causing us to have even more distractions.

I don't mean that we should isolate ourselves and become a hermit or a monk, but we need to detach from the world a little when we can.

I wrote this a while back. Maybe it will help you understand what I mean about detaching. We need to be more like the owl right now.

After a noontime meal, he would often sit in a tree overlooking a beautiful green pasture with a flock of sheep below. He was sleepily resting when a very large, black sheepdog came to lie in the shade of the tree to avoid the hot afternoon sun.

Noticing the owl sitting in the tree above, the dog said, "Look at those stupid sheep. They have no idea how much we do for them. If it wasn't for us, they would all be eaten by the wolves in no time. They should worship us, not our master! He is never around. We control this pasture."

The old owl said, "Does it never bother you controlling and ruling them the way you do?" "Bother me? Ha, ha!", said the dog, "Fool! Without us the many predators would eat them in no time at all! We are saving them! They need us. They have no idea how much work it is controlling them! Look, they don't even realize that we control them! Ha, ha. In fact, it makes them feel more secure knowing that we are here to protect them."

"Every once in a while, some young ram full of life will try and show his prowess, but we quickly put him in his place. He doesn't try that again I can tell you.", said the sheep dog with a slight grin. "They soon learn that they are not in control here, we are.", he said sternly.

The owl said to the sheep dog, "but don't you realize that you are controlled by humans the same as the sheep?" "Rubbish!, said the sheep dog, "We control this pasture! We tell the sheep where to go and when to do it, he said proudly." The old owl listened quietly and then asked after a short silence, "But you don't get to eat the tasty mutton, the humans do, is that not so? So who is really in control?"

This caused the sheep dog to fly into a rage. Showing his teeth he said to the owl, "If you were not up in that tree, I would eat you right now to show you who rules this pasture! Not humans!" The old owl chuckled at this bravado and said to the dog, "I don't fear your threats, I am not part of your silly game. That is why I spend my time alone, quietly watching this struggle from the trees. It does not concern me."

"Then why are you here?" said the dog, still angry from this affront. "To watch and to learn, just like you", said the owl. "Watching is all well and good, but power and control are what really matters! I am in control of my destiny, unlike these stupid sheep!", said the dog. The dog was still irritated at the turn in the conversation finally said, "I have to get back to work. The master will be coming soon to select a couple of lambs for his dinner. You can get back to your dreaming. I have work to do!"

The dog then returned to the field, angrily snapping at the heels of a couple of lambs straying too far from the flock. The old owl then returned to his watching and to his afternoon dreaming.

I am a simple, old man. I don't have a teacher, I'm not part of any elite group and I don't have any special abilities. I don't have the ability to channel other beings, to remote view or to leave my body at will. I am not wealthy, physically powerful or from an elite bloodline. I am not a threat to anyone. However, I have been very blessed to have remembered how powerful my true spiritual consciousness really is and to begin to understand my true reality. I have learned to take in information from everywhere I can find it. No source is out of bounds or taboo. I believe that as long as I take the knowledge received and then listen to my heart and stay strong, nothing I am told, read or see can harm me. I then keep any "diamonds" that ring true in my heart and I then discard the rest.

Our reality, both physical and etheric, is changing very quickly. All the centers of power, both good and evil, are being restructured. Because of this, many advanced beings are now jostling for power behind the scenes. New alliances are being formed and old ones are collapsing. Supposed advanced beings are now coming out of the shadows suggesting new crusades. All esoteric knowledge is now being opened for all to see. Nothing is being held back. It is an amazing time and a wonderful time to be alive. The new game certainly isn't boring.

During these amazing times, my heart tells me to go and quietly stand on a nearby hill, be very quiet, listen and watch. Then decide who our real heroes in this new spiritual power struggle are. There are many chameleons presenting themselves right now. The labyrinth is more complex than ever.

So, what are we to do? All I know to do is to remain centered, listen to your heart and not be afraid. My heart tells me that everything I need to know is within me. I don't feel I need a master, guru or a leader. I don't believe we should give our power away to anyone! When we are searching for truth, we need to go inward and not to any other being for our truth. We are much more powerful than we realize. We don't need a leader, we are each the strongest-of-the-strong. Just remember who you really are and lead yourself down your own true path. We are the only ones that know what is right for each of us...
