vegans have compassion for all animals except their fellow humans. meat provides fat and protein that is essential for good health. vegans would rather you get sick and die than eat an animal (whose soul likely incarnated into its body knowing it would become human food) and be healthy.

Man can live solely off animal meats, but man would die eating a solely plant diet.

As I recall 40% of Americans are deficient in B12 although vegans are usually tested for it more so they are aware of it.

I know people who have been living since the 60's without eating meat. They are healthy.

Check out the paleo diet book authors, for instance, they are all fat. The vegan diet book authors are slim and healthy looking. Seriously, check it out with your own eyes how people fare after a few decades following their own diets.

Of course too much protein can be a problem, that is fixed by eating Meat with high amounts of fat. No one is healthy after eating nothing by plants for 40 years.
