I actually just wikied it and couldn't figure out why the #15 was associated with it. So another noob question: what is the clip capacity? I thought I read that it's a 30 round clip somewhere. Is that correct? actually never mind. I finally found the part where it talks about clip size. I am kind of on the fence as far as whether a 20-30 round fully automatic rifle should be banned. It is definitely overkill for hunting purposes. I completely agree that the only logical purpose is for killing many humans in a short period of time. On one hand, we have to look no further than Lybia/Syria to see that citizens armed with these types of guns could take on a tyrannical leader. On the other hand, the anti-gun folks have a logical argument too. There's absolutely no reason to own one of these. I know I'll be flamed for writing that but it's true. Unless we were to have a "Red Dawn" type scenario, I can't imagine ever seeing a useful and legal purpose for that gun. It's a killing machine, not ideal for home defense, impossible for conceal/carry, overkill for hunting. Other than the 2nd Amendment argument, am I missing anything? |
