maybe she thinks the templars, but it's not about templars ..it's just about good polarity or bad. that's it.

No it is an order. AMORC. You posess a cross that is an actual gift from them.

Huh.

...huh.

When I see 'initiation'... I think 'gnostic meditation'. And the "spirit wedding", and all the two-spirit bonding processes and rituals (blood, fire, amrita) I (...we) went through this year. It IS intense, and very long lived. But I'm not sure if you and I mean the same thing, Rochelle.

But on another note, Perseus I am starting to wonder exactly how many of these "secret society" occultist-type deals fit the lightworker mentality like a glove. Have you noticed this?

well I assure I am working for the greater good. As far as initiation goes, I have been through several with RC. No meditation an actual physical performance.

Yea it's really geared that way, almost like some huge psyop mind programming deal..which I recognized very early on as a possibility. I then said..fuck it, whatever it is I'm just going to do everything I can to affect change because I think it is right..if it's all just some BS then shrug..at least I did the right thing no matter what. Even the tiniest possibility that everything I was seeing and experienced was totally authentic was enough for me to go on. Know what I'm sayin.. ~;

Yeah actually that's what bothered me about this forum at first, it seems... 'off' at times.

Total mind-fuck at other times.

I'm looking for answers on the "other" too, I think that's ultimately why Perseus is here as well; could be wrong there, but either way, I'm sorry if I portrayed anything but a welcoming sentiment Rochelle.

I've studied the inner path for many years.

How were you chosen to be invited into the Rosicrusions and how would I become introduced to any of the members for consideration?

The term black balled comes from masonry. That is how they vote on you. Each mason puts a ball in the box, one black ball and you're out.

is there any truth to the promulgated rumor that once a member goes to certain levels...there's no leaving it?

also, in masonry, it seems that there is more support as far as business relationships and youth programs...more of a 'family...do you find this true?

Yes they will help you anyway they can. There's even senior living land for masons. It's a brotherhood. But in answer to your first question, once a mason always one. Their number one priority is family. And you have all the time in the world to climb the ranks. Once you get to third degree you are master mason. Then you can stop there r further your knowledge depending on your interests.

Re: The Rose and the Cross
i've now read the 'master of life' and I have previously read 'secrets of the Rosicrusions' written by Magus Incognito which , of course, is an approved RC publication.

Is the philosophy of the Masons identical with RC? There is a mason lodge in my area, but I doubt there is an RC temple or even organized group due to the small size of the town in which i reside. ...so i am leaning toward masonry if the philosophy is identical.

any insight on this?

Re: The Rose and the Cross
I'm not recruiting this is a personal decision one has to make if they are interested. I often say that I only joined to see what all the hype was. I have also said that this is the devils work. So be careful what you wish for. I know and love God the father, and perhaps i was wrong to make it look glamouris. I did it and no longer practice my husband does. I believe in praying to God the father and Christ. These groups do as well but they include all Gods. I feel terrible for not clarifying. Thanks for the negative Karma it opened my eyes.

Nice. Also, Hermetic Order of Golden Dawn claims to be RC. There are a lot of groups that claim a connection.

I'm personally a newbie learning from FRC.

The philosophy is slightly different yet all the same. RC is more the spiritual aspect of Masonry. Masonry is more the historical avenue.
But please I beg you to understand none of this is the way God. You would find it is of many Gods.

You know RC is knowledge passed on from a pharaoh in Egypt who believed there was only one God. He took his beliefs and built his own pyramid to teach and learn the esoteric.
