Congratulations for seeing a perfect example of field rotation.

I guarantee that if you'd looked at it a few hours before you would have seen it appear upright and a few hours before that it would have appeared lit on the top side.

What a dumbshill you are. If you will try again here with your crap claims, then I'll ask you real facts.

SO its more good for you to leave that topic right now.

rockon thank you, you are the kind of person I will listen too over these people who spew a bunch of mumbo-jumbo. You KNOW what is the norm because you are living closer to nature, out in it and it is not only a sense it is like "WOW" this is NOT RIGHT type of in your face. Thanks for sharing
 Quoting: IwasKidding

Well.. no thanks necessary.. I'm no expert on any of this.
Merely sharing an observation..
Don't know what the implications are.
I'm here for the same reason you are..to attempt to
understand what is happening.

Nuggets can be found here, but ya gotta sift through a lot of dirt, sometimes.
And then there is the fool's gold to consider..

Another proof here. This is 1 year timelapse moon video from the Earth (seems it has been filmed on 2011, there are here a decent number of photograms stiked together to make the film smoothest as possible I think in about almost 1 per day).

As you can see, there is no sideway moon at all.

Plus the shadow angle on the phases, pretty change (it does not stand up as it should be on our latitudes).

SO that video was filmed far away from the poles/northern hemisphere.

However that video is a BIG FAIL in covering-up. They tried to normalize the way the moon rotates more than ever before (since late 2007), associating that huge spin to the moon's libration. Then, as the moon has started to rotate more and more, this year some shills (or very dumb dudes or sheep) started to talk about field rotation nonsense crap here.

Didn't read through the entire thread but just wanted to add that I twice made mention on why the sky was still bright and blue when I was leaving work at 5:30. The fricken sun was still out! That shit ain't right. Other people seem to be oblivious to this. I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be completely dark by 5:30. The days don't start getting longer until after Christmas. Something's not right here and this is the first time I've ever said it.

As Halcyon Dayz, FCD said, it's an computer animation. It's an animation using data from the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter to show libration and the Moon’s phases. Why would you think it would show field rotation? Field Rotation is caused by being on a rotating sphere called the Earth.
It is precisely because it is fashionable for Americans to know no science, even though they may be well educated otherwise, that they so easily fall prey to nonsense. They thus become part of the armies of the night, the purveyors of nitwittery, the retailers of intellectual junk food, the feeders on mental cardboard, for their ignorance keeps them from distinguishing nectar from sewage. — Isaac Asimov

Driving home during and just after sunset..

I noticed the rosy sunset glow in my rear view..
Then I noticed a pink glow on the horizon.. 360 degrees of glow..

And, no.. I didn't take a picture..but I saw it.
 Quoting: Waterbug

that's rather common going from one brightly lit area (city/town) to another.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 6476436

Except that it was out in the county headed away from the city..
and it was still very daytime.. and I live in a rural area.
And I know the difference between what I saw and city-glow.
City-glow is not pink.. nor does it encompass 360 degrees of view.

I'm a hunter.
I've watched the sun come up and go down for over 50 years..
Prime hunting is just after can't see in the morning and just before can't see in the afternoon..
game animals move the most during those times.
I get into the woods before daylight to morning hunt...and out after dark on an afternoon hunt.

So.. I'm very aware of what that looks like... in all kinds of weather.
Hunting effectively means remaining motionless and scanning with your eyeballs.. for hours at a time.

I think I'll trust my eyes and experience on this, over a random claim from who knows who..
 Quoting: Waterbug

Well, that's all well and good then. Enjoy your fantasy world.

Sun continues to rise when it should, and set when it should here in Ohio.

Since DUCM doesn't believe in Field Rotation is real, I'm going to repost these photos I took of the Moon back in Sep.

The first photo shows the orientation of the Moon shortly after rising in the east. The second photo shows the orientation of the Moon as it crossed the meridian. The last photo shows the orientation of the Moon shortly before it set in the west. Of course, DUCM will call me a shill for pointing this out. FIELD ROTATION is real and happens to ALL non-polar aligned objects in the sky, not just the Moon.

I'm no astronomer and know little about the sun, moon and stars.

I do know that in the past few days, and before the solstice, the daylight time was suddenly much longer than normal.
