Why is "Emilie Parker Fund" FB started BEFORE the creator(s) knew she was dead???

Besides the obvious acting there is something he said right after he mentioned the FB page that had me asking WTF? "Raising money FOR Emilie"

Not for Emilie's funeral/burial expense, not for the family, FOR Emilie...

Let's say they entered the crime scene at 10:00 A.M.
4 Hours later, they were ready to create a fan page with that added information? 4 HOURS. And in that 4 hours, they need to confirm the bodies, the parents need to identify (YES OR NO) if that is their loved one dead. That takes another few hours. Instead, it seems like the parents entered the crime scene, okay she is dead, let's make a facebook page, HURRY!

The FB page was set up by good friends in Colorado to give ongoing information about Emilie. When it was initially started it says that they don't know the status, if she was taken to the hospital or what, but they do know she was injured.

Maybe being so far away, and the family having so many friends in Colorado, the friend who started this did it to keep everyone informed. It was like a central meeting place for info.

When they found out she was murdered they made it a memorial fund.

I'm with you AC. I said the same thing. This is unlike anything I've seen....and.....that's the one thing that has really sent my radar in motion, in addition to the major inconsistencies in the story. Over the years, I have had 3 cousins who were killed by drunk drivers. The families were literally distraught and heartbroken beyond words. The grief was overwhelming and the funerals were terribly heartbreaking. At one of the funerals, even the minister broke down in tears.

And now, we have 27 people who have been tragically killed in a mass slaughter, losing their precious loved ones, and the families are coherent enough to call Anderson Cooper from CNN for an interview? Last night on CNN, he said that Grace McDonnell's parents called him for an interview......and their daughter was tragically killed in a horrific crime scene on Friday......are you kidding me?????

The McDonnell's have also made it clear that they're not angry. How can any parent request to be on TV (before the burial), after this horrible tragedy......and smile for the camera? This just happened on Friday and I am very disturbed by this. Of course, many people will say, "Oh, everyone has their own way of dealing with grief!" Well, this has to be the strangest showing of grief I've seen to date. By the way, has anyone actually seen tears streaming down anyone's face? I just can't fathom this kind of composure during a tragedy like this.

ON TOP OF THIS.....Piers Morgan interviewed some of the families from the Aurora, CO shooting, and one of the ladies said that a 501(c)(3) charity was set up and the money was being directed into another 501(c)(3)...and not to the victim's families. I believe she specifically came onto the show to raise the money issue while Piers wanted to talk about gun control.

Very very quick to jump into a creating a FUND and asking for MONEY. Makes no sense.

The vid of the father in my opinion is this: He is a young guy who lost a daughter, and is cashing in on his 15 minutes of fame, hence the suit and the smile beforehand. Nervousness, cameras, international news.

I do not think anything nefarious is at play here, just a guy getting some attention.

About the suit : I think he is LDS Mormon. Suits are pretty much standard for these guys. Y'know, Mormon missionaries going door to door in their black suits n all that jazz.

He also happens to be a drug researcher and physicians assistant who works at the local hospital. Probably needs at least one good suit for meetings and the like.

I noticed in their 'family' picture that the wife had her arms covered a'la Sister Wives style. Pretty sure they wear the magic underwear too.

Which brings me to another question - I know quite a few Mormon/LDS individuals and families. If one of their own is in need, they don't go around with their hands out to the genral public, not typically anyways. They raise funds within their own 'community' or parish.
